A most intricate silk painting derived from a collage I made. Including a Jun Kaneko head, and a Florida Calendar page to the left which reminds me of rising tides. The apprentice has let loose forces beyond their power to control.
A Koi painted with Hue inks - normally i use Procion Fibre Reactive dyes.
Cyclical time is linear in so far as it travels in a circle either direction. THe dot point of the present creates the line. There is bathos in this line for it meets its origin but does not dissect it, instead going on, a tangent that doesn't penetrate a circle. That is the difference between non-linear "soul" time, and modern linear time which stats at birth and ends at death. A bubble maker.
An old canvas discovered in an op-shop - probably one of those "decorator" canvases that are available en masse for home decor use. now made original and wild.
Collage is made with smaller pieces of colored paper and in this case silk. I like this piece. The mask added to the frame references Anne Patchet's story Bel Canto, about the loss of innocence in a country where the modern world oppresses some unbearably.
Silk Painting - of hilarious exchange between male privilege and pure spirit.

This is a Silk Painting under Mixed Media. I LOVE the undercolors. A tiny Screech Owl graced the Areca Palm by my porch. I hope she will return.
In Celtic mythology Owl is Blouedwedd. She is alone, but has great wisdom. Her presence presages death of ego, her absence indicates forgiveness. I lived, live and will live in Archetypal, Mythical, Lyrical, Symbolic Personas reflected in Art.
Silk Painting overpainted with Mixed Media. Silk Painting colors preserve a pleasing pastelity to enhance heron White. Polynesians said to Capt Cook, "DON'T Shoot the Birds !! DO you not know these are our ancestors??"
I painted this while listening to a CD of The Goldfinch - a novel by Donna Tartt about the art world today. Brilliant.
I used Mixed Media to give the Phrygian presence. I am Phrygian, White - Man enters lower Right.
Silk Painting Inspired by an image in an Art magazine long gone now. Space Abstract, Silk Painting. Someone playing a harp? - blue arms, slender body, egg head. + Egg
Silk Painting. Lotus-Lilly. Meditative quality of Nature - appropriate for Healing. Nice for a Healing Practice. See available work.

Beloved Goddess, Human heart. Where god dwells when peace is present.
On a scarf because Love needs all the help they can get. Silk Scarves heal and prevent sore throats.
I celebrate tradition and wisdom. This was a lovely gift.
Scarf referencing Jewish Mysticism. Menorah - for me a unified expression of the Family of Man- more honored in the breach....Mysticism. Peace. Mystics are Animists. Everything Alive. Power is not of interest - it is Sorrow.
A koi painting in custom colors to suit the location.
This is an image on a scarf for a Big Brothers Big Sisters fundraiser using their logo of the adult and child together.
A mermaid for a sea themed bathroom.
Mi Papa's favorite flower. In a collection somewhere...
